Throwing the flowers?

i want to have people throw flowers instead of rice when we leave the church. i have seen the paper cones that you can make that have print on the inside of them. what is a good thing to write on the inside? a quote? and how do you make the cones? i know you roll yhe paper but how do you get the print in the right place?

All you need is a square peice of paper (about 6-8 inches long) and you fold it around, tape it down and add a ribbon. As far as writing, the nicest thing to do is just your names and the date. (Which is done in one corner at a 45 degree angle) You can't write too much in there because there just isn't enough space. These were mine...

Only thing I would suggest is you use a slightly wider ribbon (I wanted to - but I didn't buy the ribbon so I had to go with what I was given!)
Reply:To get things to print in the right spot is a hit or miss!



You have to know the size of the paper adjust the printer and it still may not come out right. Just learn by doing, print it a bunch of times untill it works!

Reply:I love gardenias, they smell so beautiful!!! They could throw white gardenias and flower petals that match your colors. Another idea, you could cut out the quote and glue it to any paper cone.

Reply:Instead of using a cone with words in it, we used doilies to make the cones and then used floral stickers to hold them together. We threw freeze dried rose petals.
