Remember when we used to play?
It's come and gone so quickly as day.
Who am I, to say I'm right.
Who are you to pick a fight?
I know I'm smaller, but don't test me.
Lest my bottled anger should tempt me.
For lunch I've sold my soul, on paper, to a schoolmate.
Nay, I do not exaggerate. Apologies if I exasperate.
But I live my life, by means necessary.
My soul is with me, though, I feel it.
Perhaps they'll say I'm a loon...
But I've felt my soul's growth...
like a flower pruned. Gone today, much stronger, soon.
(I'm just going to keep writing poems for you all, like it or not I'm in the mood... any topic requests?)
A Song For My Brother?
Great poems!
Write about a person being sick of being ignored. I am being ignored by some of my friends and it's ticking me off! lol
Edit: Thanks, I like it! =)

Question about Kingdom Hearts 1 for ps2?
ok, i recently got this game to c what the fuss was all about and now i'm completely hooked. but there's 1 prob. i don't know where to find alice!! i've gone through everything i think i need to go through there, except this one flower that only says "shock me". please help! i've been trying to find alice for like an hour now. oh and yes i have already battled that wierd paper thing in the bazzar room. pleze help. thanks!
Question about Kingdom Hearts 1 for ps2?
Just go to the queen after gathering the 'evidence' she requires if you haven't already and a short clip plays you find that the heartless is snatching alice. You'll get her back way later in the game though. I suggest finding a walkthrough from www.cheatplanet.com or another cheat site to keep you on track while you go.
Reply:It's been a while since I played the game. I suggest going to http://www.gamefaqs.com
Reply:I think you just have to talk to the queen if you already beat the boss
Reply:If you've already fought the boss on that level, The Trickmaster, then you've done everything you can do on that level. Alice isn't there anymore. She's been kidnapped! DUH DUH DAAAHHH! Don't worry, you'll find her later once you find the bad guys.
And I love that game. The concept seems so simple, but it's really layered and character driven. It's awesome!
Reply:You dont find her until later. I tired to find her right away too.

Does anyone know a poem like this?
FRIENDS
Young love,
Like a flower,
Blossoms,
And dies out.
But when it ends,
The ones that care,
Are the friends,
That were always there.
They are the ones,
Who will stick by you,
Who will treat you with respect,
And will never let you down,
They’ll always be there,
To catch you,
When you fall,
To guide you,
When times are hard,
To stand by you,
When your life gets rough.
They will always be there,
No matter what happens,
And you can always count on them;
Friends,
They’ll be there till the end.
I wrote theis poem, and i want to send in to the youth part of my towns paper, but mum friends mum says it's almost exactly the same another poem. I dont want o send it in if it is, because someone might claim that i copied it.
Does anyone know a poem like this?
maybe she meant that it's a typical poem. the words you wrote are general facts about friends, and are usually seen in songs. why not describe a friend? or compare it to something? like a bracelet (the chains keep the friendship together.. etc etc) or a diary (keeps secrets, and it has a lot of pages). :P
Reply:I have not come across with similar words although there are many poems with same title and theme.

Why did he eat it?
at my school on valentines day you can order carnations for your "loved" one and theyll deliver it to them in homebase. well last year i got really close to this guy. but the feeling was mutual. he didnt return the love. well my seat was infront of him and when he got the carnation he read it and sat it down. one of his friends kept askin to see who it was from and tyler would tell him "no!you'll laugh!"so later he was playing with it like he didnt know what to do with it. on the paper i wrote "JUST FRIENDS?" so this year i bought him another and he ate it on the bus, was that cause he was just nervouse, cause i sit right beside him and he didnt say thankyou or nothin( i didnt expect a thankyou, i mean hes a guy he aint gonna thank me for a flower)some of my friends and family think it was rude of him not to get me one, cause everyone tells him i like him. so he knows i do. did he not send me one cause he didnt want to give me the wrong impression?
Why did he eat it?
he sounds very immature %26amp; too afraid of any uncomfortable feelings
Reply:He ate the carnation? My advice to you is, stay away from him.
Reply:Ha Ha! Dude ate a flower!!!
Reply:no he juss dont like u...not being mean but boys r gay jerks and that wus rude of him not to say thanks..or even say hey or sumthing to u..hes a jerk and dont like u like that...he might think his friends will mkae fun of him...yeah tough isnt it..i hate boys
Reply:he ate it?! hahaha(: its ok, he was probably trying to make you laugh or somthing. huum, maybe giving you a flower just isent his style, or maybe he diddent have money, or maybe he just forgot. he should have said thanks. good luck with it. yup, he probably just ate it to be funny or somthing.
Reply:U sure he's not involved with another girl....and for 1 thing eating the flower was just plain silly. he should have gotten you one, and thanked u for the 1 u gave him if he was a gentlemen.
Reply:he doesn't like you. if he did, he'd act like he likes you. to me that doesn't sound like he's even close to liking you the slightest bit... maybe just as friends.
Reply:he doesn't like you and he did the right thing by not leading you on . he probably ate it coz of a bet or friend's urging .
Reply:He ate it because he was nervous. He's not comfortable with you giving him flowers, so don't do it anymore. He doesn't like you the way you like him.
He doesn't give you flowers because he's not interested, and doesn't want to give you the wrong impression. It sounds like he doesn't want to be "just friends" either, if that is even possible for a guy when he knows a girl likes him more than just friends.
Reply:He did not send you one cause he's not interested in you. In fact the "no, you'll laugh" comment implies that you are an object of ridicule to him. Just go find someone else.
Reply:he was probably hungry
Reply:cause hes stuiped
Reply:He is immature!!!!!
Reply:Dear, why did you waste the time or effort on that jerk?
Don't read into it, just drop it. its about him NOT you.
Expect more from friends and potential dates!
Waste no more time on this person! He is not into you for what ever lame reason and that's the reality you must deal with and move on! You would tell a friend the same thing right? Then listen to you own heart. ACTIONS speak louder than words and he is shouting "go away" to you.
If I was your school friend, I would have told you that last year, and advised you to direct your energy on someone else wonderful...like yourself.
You both sound very young, so take this life lesson early.
ONLY surround yourself with the best people, because YOU deserve the best! That goes for all areas of your life!
Reply:Umm Chicky.. take the hint.. hes not interested in you in that particular romantic way.. Sorry.. but it likely true...
I'd feel wierded out by a female friend that was going psycho on my butt to that i wasnt interested in in that was as well..
Ad it wouldnt be the first flower i've ever eaten.. but at least i always said thank you.. (and I'm an Old foggy.. Been there done that.. more times than i can remember)
Reply:I guess its not mutual coz he never reacted nor gave importance what you feel. Neither talk to you and clarify something...
Now the reason why he ate flowers are:
He loves to eat flowers...LOL
or he don't someone see him having flowers and might be asked by someone whom it came from or in short, he don't wan to be bothered by someone.
Reply:"did he not send me one cause he didnt want to give me the wrong impression?"
that's right. But he should have at least said thank you. He seems kind of rude and not the type of guy you should be with so move on and find some one who deserves your flowers!
He ate the flower to impress his friends or something like that!
Reply:Do you have a period in that question?
Reply:I think his actions speak louder than words. He doesn't like you. Move on. There are other boys out there I am sure that would love you attention. I wouldn't be quite THAT obvious about it.
Reply:Sad to say but I dont think He likes you. You probably know that so stop buying him flowers.
Reply:he wouldnt send you one because he does not want to develop a relationship and the reason he ate it is because he wants you to know that he doesnt like you the way you like him and you need to get over it

What would you do?
see i was walking down the street.... trying to figure out that last little bit to stairway to heaven on my paper towel flute... when out of no where appeared these clowns riding unicycles, and they pelted me with peanut and smashed my flute... i'm enjoying the peanuts but i don't know what to do about the flute... should i
1) sue the bastards and get all their peanuts and maybe a squirting flower for emotional anguish
2) go to the local carnival and go on a clown shooting spree
3) go home, cry and craft a new flute
i'm leaning to # 2 but would like a few opinions
What would you do?
Take them clowns, stuff them in the flute and roll them down a ravine. That'll teach them bastards!
Hugs sweetie!

Physical vs. Chemical changes?
I am not good at science so I need some help! I had my elementary students list examples of physical changes. Their book listed water changing to ice or steam as one, or cutting or shaving wood. I read somewhere that physical changes can be reversed... but if I cut up a piece of paper, I can't reverse it without using tape or something. So what am I missing here? And as far as the responses I got, there were some clever/slightly deranged kids. One said animals, when they die. They're still animals. Or if you cut up a dog, it's still a dog. Or if you add salt to water, the salt is still there. Which confuses me- if you add kool aid mix to water, you dont have water anymore, you have kool aid. Can it be reversed? And lastly, someone said growing, like a baby growing to be an adult. Does that make sense? But the change from a seed to a flower would be chemical change, yes? Thanks for your help science people.
Physical vs. Chemical changes?
A physical change is a change that occurs to a substance's size, shape or state. Cutting up paper is a physical change because, in theory, you can still rejoin the edges of that paper to make it just as it was before (but I know this is almost impossible without the proper machinery). Adding Kool Aid (cherry for example) to water creates a solution (a homogenous mixture of a solid dispersed in a liquid). You simply have millions of tiny red solid state Kool Aid granules evenly dispersed in water so well that it looks like a chemical reaction took place BUT IT DID NOT. The key is that the ingredients themselves (the water and the Kool Aid) have not been changed, only displaced. By boiling the water completely you would be left with dry Kool Aid but again this is only possible with hi-tech machines found in labs. BUT IT IS POSSIBLE.
In contrast, a chemical reaction actually changes the chemical makeup of the substances involved. New molecules are formed and energy is either given off or absorbed in the process.
Living and growing (people, animals and plants) is an EXTREMELY complex example of both chemical and physical processses. Being alive you are able to chemically stimulate physical processes. When death occurs these chemical processes stop and chemical decomposition takes place.
Reply:Try this site. I think it explains things rather simply and it even has a worksheet link.
When kids say things about cutting up dogs, please tell them that it is an inappropriate answer. If you do this in a calm, matter-of-fact manner, they will soon learn that it's not funny and it's not acceptable.

Reply:How about this? A physical change is something that occurs in a substance without it changing into or interacting with another substance. It still has it's own composition like water, steam and ice are all H2O! Water and Kool-aid are not. Physical properties are color ( snowshoe rabbits are brown in summer, white in winter but they are always snowshoe rabbits), density, melting point, etc.
Chemical changes are the conversion of substance(s) into other substance(s)- this is a chemical reaction and something has to be added or taken away to produce a chemical change. Like our friend water; add an electric current to water and it breaks down into hydrogen and oxygen-2 gases, so we have changed the physical and chemical properties.
And no, a physical change does not have to be reversible. Growing up is a physical change, but chemically we remain the same.
Reply:Physical change: Changes to physical properties like shape, size, states of matter, reversible.
All conditions need not exist at the same time!
Chemical change: Can include above but MUST have heat or light exchange, non-reversible
1) cutting up paper (changing size)
2) Add salt to water - they can be separated by evaporating water
I hope it helps.
Reply:Paper can be recycled and wood can be made into particle board, plywood, veneer, etc. There may be a chemical change in severing some of the constituent fibers of the wood/paper, but the process is at least somewhat reversible, though more easily for paper. When organisms die, the chemical processes keeping them alive stop and they decompose, all chemical changes. Salt water can be distilled or evaporated and the salt is no longer in the water: reversible. Likewise with the kool aid. And, finally, organisms' growth is most definitely the consequence of chemical changes. Hope that covers everything.

Can I store daffodil bulbs for 10 months?
We're getting married next April and would love to give out flower bulbs (beautifully presented, of course!) as wedding favors to our guests, and I just found someone with 2 five gallon buckets of daffodil bulbs that they're getting rid of.
My question is this: Will they still be "plantable" for next April if I clean them throughly, and store them in a paper bag in a cool dark closet until then? Thanks ahead for all serious answers!
Some possibly helpful information: If I HAD to plant them I could. I live in zone 7, but it's pretty dry here (Fort Worth, TX) and I'm worried they wouldn't survive. We'll be getting married in a zone 6 location.
Can I store daffodil bulbs for 10 months?
Store them carefully, dark, dry but not too low humidity, and cool and they should be just fine.
