What 20th century historical event or person interests you the most?

I have a project to do and I need ideas..I have many but can't seem to narrow it down. Events that come to mind is the Cuban Missel Crisis, Mao Zedong's 100 flowers campaign, Stalin and Lenin's use of propaganda....

P.S. I can't do anything that has to do with Hitler cause I did a paper on him once before and now have to think of something else.

What 20th century historical event or person interests you the most?
Theodore Roosevelt, first environmental president. Although he was an avid hunter, no one single man has done more for the conservation, and preservation of natural resources. He is responsible for the establishment of the national park service / and system. A real visionary for his time, considering the prevailing attitude towards the environment and conservation at that time.

He also busted the big steel, coal and railroad monopolies of the time and passed laws protecting workers!
Reply:I think one of the men who made a huge change in American culture and buying habits was Sam Walton. Of course, you could argue the same for Henry Ford. It just depends if you're needing a political/international topic or domestic topic.
