Bento lunches?

how do i color the rice pink and blue and other colors without using food coloring, but using other "dyes" from veggies? like, you know, if i could use the reddish color from beetroot and stuff like that? it would seem more edible.

how do i cut sea weed into very intricate shapes? i know some use hole punches meant for paper, those with designs and all. any other cheaper methods?

any idea what i can use for pink stuff? like if i want to make pink flowers, what do i use?

Reply:Well to make the rice pinkish/red use ADZUKI beans. If you could the rice in a rice cooker, add the beans and its juice, it will make traditional Japanese red rice.

Saffron will make the rice yellow.
