Take bt to court? i have been getting 2 sets of bills paid 1 set been restricted unable to get any answers?

I signed with bt nov 2007 i wanted to pay monthly it did not happen took me 2wks to sort out as a goodwill gesture i got a bunch of flowers and assurances it would not happen again. i sined up for online billing and continued to pay the bills at the same time they sent me paper bills for amounts more than double the online bills. i could not get through to find out what was happening with the result that i am unable to use my landline. whilst online have emailed their customer services who in 2 emails 3mins apart informed me that i do not have homephone with bt, so whats next. i want to take bt to court when i can figure out what the hell is going on. can anyone help?

BT keep sending me bills even though I am with Tiscali!! Despite my emails (With replies not relevant to my enquiry), and returning a red bill to the sales dept with copies of the irrelevant emails and my letter requesting to know what this is all about, the only thing i have received from BT is yet another bill! A dirty corrupt company stocked with employees that are evidently incompetent or being instructed to screw customers / non-customers. Just don't deal with the company and report it to OTelo - the address is on the back of your bill.
Reply:BT is a monopolist Company. Like so many, today their services are designed to keep customers very distant from accessing them. They fight shy to put their replies in writing . On line business, cuts the customer off from producing hard proof. They are fully aware, that rather than go to court for justice most people will accept bad, negligent service. Justice might be for everybody in theory, but in practise it is beyond affordability to increasing Numbers of the Population. Legal Aid ? What Legal Aid ? Try getting someone to take your case.....Citizens Advice ? Try getting to one. Consumer law ?. They will ask you to contact the people you cannot,and not for the want of trying. Perhaps The Legal Dept of "Which" magazine or Watchdog or some such organisation might advise and tell you what to do but,don't hold your breath .... these firms are ignoring all until the very last minute; before you pay money on your own and start a court case. Then the company will just have to say SORRY and get away with their neglect and Customer nastiness.Only the very persistent and articulate person will survive and win against Company injustices today.
