Wedding planning- help! Purchasing??

Okay, here is what I have done so far--

-booked the ceremony location and reception hall

-booked a dj

-booked a reverend to marry us

-applied for wedding license

-booked caterer

-assembled bridal/groom parties. all have their outfits already

-bought bridal gown

-ordered invites (wedding is 4 months away and invites are blank to be printed by me) Will be here next week

-set up gift registries

Okay, what do I need to buy for the wedding? It is in a park (ceremony) where it doesn't need decorations. The reception hall needs to be decorated a bit, which I want to use rice paper lanterns and bushel baskets of green apples. (Apple green, cream and chocolate brown are the colours). We don't want to use flowers, because a lot of my fam. are allergic and fake ones look horrible. Bouquets and boutinierres are being made from herbs tied in bundles.

I want ECO FRIENDLY and BUDGET FRIENDLY!! We only have a budget of $1000 (NOT including caterer)... what do I need to buy?!

Wedding planning- help! Purchasing??
You need to get a photographer as well. I'd get that one done fast if you haven't already. Look for someone that is easy to work with and that you like. You'll be spending lots of time with them, so make sure you can get along and they understand exactly what you want for shots. The last thing you need on your wedding day is the photographer getting an attitude.
Reply:For inexpensive wedding jewelry for you and your bridesmaid, you may want to check out http://www.glamforless.com/Jewelry.htm
Reply:you may need some bridal accessories such as ring pillow, flower girl basket, aisle runner, cake tops, garters, guest signing book and pens, cake knife and server set, champagne glass and may be some place card. check this site http://desbijoux.com
Reply:do you need favors? How many guests? Since everyone is allergic, I guess tree saplings are out of the question. It sounds like you are all set. Do you have bridesmades? Maybe get them a small gift.
Reply:The best advice I can give is sign up at the wedding site www.theknot.com. It's a free wedding site. They have a budget calculator on their where you can enter in your budget, what you've already spent, etc. They give you ideas of what to buy and how much it should cost based on your budget. They have tons of ideas, but if you don't like one, example: ice sculture, you can delete it from your list.

I'd check it out, it's been a great help to me. TONS of other ideas on the site, too.

Congrats and way to be eco-friendly!!
Reply:I totally agree with the previous post. My wedding is May 24 (almost there). I did almost all of my planning on www.theknot.com. I also did a lot of yahoo picture searches. I created a work document titled wedding ideas. I would copy and paste every picture that interest me in the work document. From there I would finally pick a favor, or a centerpiece, etc. Hope this helps.
