Do we need to constantly told about crime on Yahoo SA answers?

Do we really need to be reminded about crime from someone sitting in a cosey little English village in front of his TV and Internet, gleefully sitting in his little cottage with flowers in their garden and worrying smugly only about whether a robin will peck the milk? Does a certain person think we are so numb in SA that we do not watch the news, read the paper or walk out the front door? Are we so stupid that we are not aware of crime and the terrible scourge that is plaguing our country? Are we not fed up of governmental ineptitude?

I repeat, countrymen, do we really need to listen to this incessant, gloating drone of a certain person who has nothing to gain other than boosting his own ego and certainly nothing to lose other than internet time either?

I agree with you 100%.......but above all, some have the temerity to tell you that you have the right not to read Alf et al's postings if you don't like......they don't like your postings but keep answering.........now this is hypocrisy!!!!!
Reply:It does tend to get a bit boring, I agree... especially if its repetitive. But what of the South Africans who report it? I do however, have an issue with race always coming into the picture. To a point though MJ, you need to understand that some of us are only warning each other and making each other aware of whats really going on. I have heard so much that the papers or tv never cared to mention just by being here. I was able to report my car (still havent recieved a case number and no one is answering) and warn people about that place. Can you imagine being told the police are on lunch or no one answering the phone at a police station?

The problem is that we have weak, lazy cowards here that have an axe to grind against SA.

They have zero pride in them hence they let a foreigner attack the country.

Reply:I agree with Blouspook, Heavy and SAgirl......crime is part of our lives, what must we do or what do you want us to do.....ignore it? Why don't you come and live here again, then you will see......nice for you you live in England a 1st world country, sitting peacefully with open windows and doors at home. If you do not like the SA section then rather concentrate on the UK section.....
