What's the most romantic thing you have ever done for someone?

A few years ago I was dating this girl named Heather and she was having a realllllllllly bad week. So I had flowers delivered to her work, but that wasn't the romantic thing. See I had her roomate help me out and we decorated their living room like Italy (part of why she was having a lousy week was because her parents went to Italy and took her younger sister but not her). I then prepared a meal (I made lasagna, and we had french bread to go with it. Desert was strawberries and chocolate). She came home to find that her front door was covered in little paper hearts and inside there I was with this candle light dinner. It was a beautiful evening. We talked and laughed and it was great. I also got her a very pretty necklace.

ps: Unfortantley we broke up a few months later because she wanted to have an intimate relationship and once I became a Christian I vowed not to do that outside of marriage. I

I think I just melted into a little puddle.



I've never done extravagant things.. I'm about simple romance. I have plans to write out some long cute sentence to my boyfriend on post it notes.. and stick them in places he will see throughout the day (on his steering wheel, in his favorite hat, wallet, etc.) and at the end of the day he gets to put them together to see what I wrote.



Also, one year for Christmas I went with the 12 days of Christmas and a treaure hunt (I'm a dork, I know). The first gift, 12.. (I don't know what the heck it was.. maybe tokens for a video arcade or something?).. then there'd be a clue such as "you'll find 11 wrapped up in our favorite blanket" to lead him to the crock that holds all of the blankets in my house.



I'm a sucker for romance.

Reply:I have never done anything romantic for BF it is always for other people But my BF knew How much I wanted to the fireworks with him, So last July he drove for 6 hours to see me and spend 4th of July with me, it my sound corny but the fireworks have always been special to me because it was something me and my mom did together, I haven't seen her in 8 years, thank you for this question it has made really feel like doing something special for him.

I carved my girl friends name in to 4 trees, wrote her a love poem, and told her that one thing on my list that i want to do is lay with her on a hill on a summer night and gaze up at the stars with my arm around her.
