Where can i find wall papers for my bedroom?
Buy wall paper at any of the following places: Walmart or other discount store, any paint store, Sherwin Williams comes to mind. Yes, Home Depot carries wall paper in stock as does Lowe's and many other places. Most places that carry wall paper also will have books that you can look in that will have samples of everything you can imagine. You need to tell the clerk at one of the larger store counters what you are looking for and she/he might be able to steer you to just the right thing without looking through lots of books. They can order what you want and get it in in a matter of a few days. Lots to choose from. A local carpet center was going out of the wall paper business, and discontinued this department in their store over a period of several months. I just got finished hanging gorgeous wall paper that was $30.00 a roll price marked on roll, and I purchased it for $2.00 a roll. Check around all the stores to see if there are any specials. There is usually a "bargain bin" where there are several rolls of several different patterns that someone ordered and did not pick up or something that is going out of print and has a limited amount. First, let your fingers do the walking and call stores in the yellow pages to see if there are any sales going on that you don't want to miss. Then take some items from your room to match (pillows or pillow covers are easy things to tuck in a bag and take along. Then you get the right perspective on how all the items are going to look together. Don't forget***ask the clerk how much space is lost on the roll to match the pattern. Most of the florals that I have purchased I lost about 12 - 18 inches matching the patterns strip to strip. I learned that stripes or an overall small pattern you lose nothing or a very small amount. It is not easy, just takes practice and being carefuland methodical. Measure twice, cut once rule certainly applies here. Just depends on your skills and your budget. Since you are asking where to buy it I gather that you probably have not hung wall paper before. Get someone to help you. It is much easier and safer if you are not standing on a ladder with a long strip of sticky paper trying to smooth it out by yourself without falling. Remember, this is not rocket science. Anyone can learn to wet the glue (nearly all papers come prepasted now unless you buy a vintage paper). There are also lots of places that sell wall paper that also give lessons on how to hang it. You can also purchase books at these same places or the best bet, a free book from the Library will give you great information and you'll be a pro in no time. I can hang wall paper as well as any professional - except it takes me about 5 times as long. Professionals are expensive and I like being a do it yourselfer. I can go into rooms in my home that I have hung wallpaper and love the decor because it is something that I personally chose and hung myself. All the decorating shows on tv now say paint instead of wall paper and they always take down ceiling fans and hang light fixtures, usually chandeliers of some sort. I live in a HOT area of the country and do not intend to part with my wonderful ceiling fan. I also like the personality of wall paper. I grew up with painted walls. Maybe we like what we didn't have before. Good luck with your project. You will love it when it is done and enjoy it every day as you look at it.

The Wow factor of a black/white print of some kind coupled with maybe shiny white trim sounds great to me. Don't go too big on the pattern if you are going to do all walls. If you select a really large pattern, sometimes one wall or two walls with paint on the other walls of the room to coordinate is a good idea. Happy improving!
Reply:Your local Sherwin Williams Store has a huge library of Wallpaper sample books. It may take a while to go through all of them to find what you want but believe me it's worth it!
Reply:I would try a local paint store.
Reply:The best plan is to look in your local yellow pages for retail wall covering dealers. Visit a showroom and look 'till your heart's content! A good salesperson will hook you up with what you need, and if you are a novice, will give you the tips you need for success!
