Do you remember?

paper dresses in the late 60's or early 70's. I had a very mod one with huge flowers on it. I don't remember how or if they were laudered. Can someone help me?

Do you remember?
OMG I remember them. Thank you for the reminder. Ihad completely forgotten. I never had one, but with the pace that fashion changes today, maybe we should being them back? we could make a fortune!
Reply:I barely remember them. You cannot launder them. It was a wear and throw away item.
Reply:Yes, I remember them. My mother had one. They couldn't be washed. She later gave it to a family friend who ran a vintage clothing/costume store.

They were neat and interesting. Everything else about the 60's and 70's fashions should be burned and forgotten, especially the sideburns, airplane collars, and go-go boots.
Reply:I remember them, but never had one.
Reply:They were disposable. :-)
Reply:I don't remember paper dresses, but underwear were all the fashion, I'm embarrassed just remembering lol
Reply:no but my wife does, she says they were a fun thing, but you could not get them wet.
Reply:Yes, I remember them, they were disposable. I remember wanting one with the big flowers, I saw in a catalog. I can't recall if I ever got it or not, but I know I really wanted it.
Reply:I remember them...OMG!...I'm getting old.
Reply:Oh yes! I do remember them; however, with a minister as a Dad....no way was I ever going to be in fashion with a paper garment on my body! lol
Reply:...what an embarrassing memory you gave me! I was wearing a paper dress and was pushed into a pool...I'll let you imagine the outcome...!
