My fiance would like a simple wedding in a registry office. and there are a few questions i wondered if anyone knew the answers to.....
1. How much is it to get married in a registry office?
2. Do you have to have certain papers before you get married?
3. Are flowers and decoration extra in the price?
Thank you X
Registry office questions!! Info please?
Before you can get married, you have to go to the Register Office and give your notice of intent to marry (£30 each) and then it costs £43 to actually get married - but this may vary depending on where you live - I'm in Bristol.
I'm not getting married in the county I live in, but you have to give your Notice of Intent in teh county you live in. You have to make an appointment to do this, and you each have to take some photo ID and a utility bill with your name on.
You have to provide your own flowers and decorations.

Reply:There are plenty of other lovely places for a simple ceremony than a registry office, my local one and some of the others I've been to are some of the ugliest examples of 70's architecture around!
Do a search for Civil Ceremonies in your area on google, and contact your local registrar's office for info on pricing etc.
Congratulations, and I hope you have a lovely day wherever you end up!
Reply:Check out your local registry office, as costs vary a huge amount, for example it is costing me £450 to use the registry office I am getting married in in London. You need to register at least 16 days before the date of your marriage and take with you passport, birth certificate and money, £30 each to register. Some registry offices have floral displays in the hallways etc, but you can't ask for them to match your colour scheme, you just have to go with what they have, unless you want pay extra and have your florist make something for you. You really need to ask the office that you are using.
Reply:there are websites that give u all this information type in registry office then your city or town
