This is the only thing I can think of to ask at the PRESENT...?

Does anybody actually follow the wedding anniversary present suggestion list? Where did the idea for this come from? Why was the Traditional updated to Modern list? Would you need a totally new list for a same sex couple? The first few years as follows:



Year Traditional Modern

1st____Paper____Clocks

2nd____Cotton____China

3rd____Leather____Crystal

4th____Flowers____Electric Apl.

5th____Wood_____Silverware

The list goes on up to 75 years and I ain't doing all that. By the way, did you get my pun, PRESENT?

This is the only thing I can think of to ask at the PRESENT...?
Yes, I got a paper airplane on my 1st anniversary, a cotton ball on my 2nd, and a leather whip on my 3rd.

We divorced soon after that, so I never made it to the flowers ....



However, I did get wood quite often .......

We have got list like that, but the only thing is , my wife %26amp; i don't give each other anything (apart from the $hits) on our anniversary.
