this plant is green in color %26amp; seldom flowers...Filipinos believe this is lucky. Please help me.....i need this for my final paper..tnx a lot!!!

Fortune plant or Lucky Bamboo is no bamboo but a ribbon plant, Dracaena sanderiana, family Ruscaceae:

It starts blooming when about 25 years old and subsequently every 5th year only.
