What can i buy my university tutor as a thank you pressie?

she is going out of her way to help me with my final year research paper which apart from making me feel very lucky i really appreciate it! i dont want to get chocolate in case she is on a diet (lol) i don't know if she drinks wine and flowers are boring!x

I agree with Paul - don't buy anything that's too expensive. Your gift should be just that - a token of your appreciation. If you don't anything about her other interests then I would get her something that relates in some way to the course she teaches. However, I'm sure that whatever you get will be fine - she'll just be glad that you do appreciate what she does. Many students don't even bother to say thank you so a small gift will mean a lot.

Reply:It depends on your budget, if you are aware in case she is on a diet then definitely not a food or sweets.Make it a little souvenir from as you show your appreciations to her.If you want to buy something she really wanted try to ask some indirect questions for what she fancy for.Anyway, is not the value it counts what you can afford its all matters.
