What type of background to write a valentines poem on?

I am writing out a poem I made for the girl I like, I have chosen to write it using a silver gel pen but don't know what type of background the paper should have.

I'm thinking of printing off a pink nebula*look it up on google if ya don't know what it is* as the background*it goes well with the silver writing or just drawing basic hearts and flowers with colouring pencils on a plain white paper.

Do you think one of the two would be ok?

I definitly would prefer if the paper was black so the silver stands out when she reads the poem but I am up for ideas from anyone!

Thanks again and I know it's early but have a good valentines:)

WHY NOT MAKE A CARD FROM RED CARD. USE THE BLACK PAPER TO WRITE ON WITH YOUR SILVER PEN, PUT SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE AFTERSHAVE ON IT AND CUT HEART SHAPES INTO THE BLACK PAPER THEN STICK IT ONTO THE RED CARD, SO THE HEARTS ACTUALLY LOOK RED AND THE SLIVER WRITING ALSO STANDS OUT!

AN IF YOU WANT TO BE EVEN MORE CREATIVE STICK A PICTURE OF YOU TWO ON THE FRONT OF THE CARD!

YOU CAN ALSO GET LOVE HEART KIND OF CONFETTI FROM CRAFT SHOPS TO PUT INSIDE YOUR CARD SO WHEN SHE OPENS IT THEY ALL FALL OUT!

DEPENDING ON HOW ROMANTIC AND HOW CREATIVE YOU ARE CRAFT SHOPS ARE FABULOUS!
Reply:YOUR WELCOME AND HAVE A FAB VALENTINES AND LETS HOPE YOUR GF APPRECIATES YOUR EFFORT! I AM SURE SHE WILL X Report It
Reply:you are a man, do not use pink paper.
Reply:The fact that you are writing a poem at all is absolutely amazing, you will go far in life treating women like that!! Whoever the lucky girl is she will be thrilled to bits!!

The pink Nebula idea is excellent, silver ink would work really well with it!

Another idea would be to buy hand made paper - you can buy them from any art shop and you can get ones with glitter or dried flowers in, and they're available in a wide range of colours, that would make a beautiful keepsake!

Hope it turns out looking great! And I hope she appreciates it! Have a great valentines too! ; )
Reply:sad
Reply:what about a deep purple, that way the silver shows well and purple is a valentines color
Reply:Go for a Black background...(the silver will stand out better!)

Perhaps use red for the hearts! (Only a few tho...dont go overboard)
