Need advice on V-Day gift for my boyfriend please :)?

Ok, so basically so fare I'm getting a picture of him and myself, putting it in a frame and putting that in the bottom of a square vase, then put red tissue paper or something around the sides of it and filling it with candy, that way as he eats the candy, the picture gradually shows. But I kinda thought I should do a little more so I'm thinking about burning a CD with a few love songs on it (I need you %26amp; How do I live-LeeAnne Rimes) and a few songs from bands that he likes. Also maybe a fake flower, like a rose (for irony, girl giving flowers to a guy and all). I'm just not sure, I've never loved anybody this much and I just want to do something that he'd like. Am I going overboard? I'm also thinking a shirt that says "McLovin" on it because he likes superbad, so it won't be overly sappy. Oppinions please?

Reply:i like the candy idea. you could take him to his favorite restaurant for dinner . rent a romantic movie turn out the lights and light some candles.
Reply:I dont think your ideas are bad but they also sound really cliche. The McLovin t-shirt idea is cute. Most men I know dont like flowers and I dont see them listening to love CD's. I would recommend getting him tickets to his favorite sporting event or a concert. Cook a dinner for him and buy lingerie to wear for his dessert, etc. If you dont have much money, buy some candles and rose petals and string them along your home leading to your bath. Have a hot one with salt ready to ease his muscles and then give him a long massage. Just a few ideas.

Reply:Enjoy a picnic breakfast, feed the ducks, take a stroll through the park. Give him something engraved so he'll remember how nice you were one day because he'll probably dump you anyway, especially if you do all that for him. He won't appreciate all you spent on him and he'll run off with some ole ugly broad. Hopefully you'll get some daisys.
