Need help with nutty neighbor PLEASE.?

My neighbor keeps putting cat crap in front of our garage, in our garage. We keep asking her to stop, but today she put a toilet paper full of cat crap on my front porch, rang the door bell and ran off. I go outside, pick it up and fling it back at her yard. She follows me to my house and says she keeps catching my cat pooping in her yard. Okay, this neighborhood has tons of cats. All the cats poop in our yard, our flower beds... We don't go around slinging cat crap at everyones cats. How should I handle this lady?

Need help with nutty neighbor PLEASE.?
Set up a couple of cams outside your house (ones that are motion activated) and catch this neighbor in the act of putting the cat crap on your property. Once you have the proof of who she is...call police. She has no right to come onto your property and do this
Reply:Call animal control and have them go over to your place, explain what s been going on, and see what they have to say. Then tell them what the neighbors have been doing and if that doesn't work then call the pollice and make a report. You can't handle it by taking matters into your own hands, that would only cause more preblems like a family fued. Lol...
Reply:how old is this rude neighbour? i say fling all the cat crap in her freakin ugly yard and see how she feels. or u can move away to a better neighbourhood like i did even though it wasn't becuz of my neighbour! :)
Reply:you may have to report her for harassment. especially if she is ringing your door bell then running off. if you can get pictures of her doing this so you have proof that she is doing this when you do call. keep a record of each time she does this and when. then turn it over to the police, if anything she is trespassing.

as for the cat poop problem; like you said the neighborhood is full of cats and there is no way of proving what cat belongs to whom, just get something that will discourage them from coming into your yard.
Reply:Your neighbor is nutty. Why not put cat poop in a bag light it on fire and run away...lol jk
Reply:OMG I had the same problem w/ my neighbor but it was a dog. Here's the thing!!! Put up a NO Tresspassing sign first. Then, when she comes into your yard again, call the police and file a restraining order against her. (it costs nothing). It is so annoying and it's not like it won't return to the earth. My neighbors keep their yard soooo neat and I understand, but they would throw trash (that was blown by the wind) and shovels full of dog poo into our yard...assuming my kids or dogs did it. We moved to a better place but not before my husband drenched their lawn with diesel fuel. He made a nice little pattern. He also poured powdered rock salt in her flower bed. I know it sounds bad, but she was VERY OBNOXIOUS ABOUT IT!!! SHE EVEN YELLED AT MY 3 YR OLD for going into her yard to get his ball. That was my FINAL STRAW!!!!
Reply:First of all, your neighbor is definitely NOT handling the situation well, but I must say, I can understand her frustration. I like cats, but where I live right now does not allow pets, therefore I do not have one. My neighbor (who thankfully recently moved) had several cats, who would come over on a daily basis and use my side yard as a litter box. Some days we couldn't even sit on our porch because the stench of cat urine was disgusting. When it is someone else's animals who are causing this type of problem for you, it is extremely frustrating.

If I were you, I would make every effort to keep your cat off her property and other than that, call the cops. Even though I understand her frustration, she still sounds a little nutty.
Reply:I would be very nice to this neighbor, go over and apologize.

Tell her you Will be over once a day and pick up some cat poopers You catch more flies with sugar than with vinegar.Just try it.
Reply:You got a few options here, you can call the police like everyone else is stating, call animal services and have them look into it, or get ahold of game and fish and ask to borrow a few live traps. Live traps are a great way to catch animals without hurting them then you can take them to the humane society and give them the cat and put the trap back out again. Win win for everyone, cat population goes down or crazy lady realizes what your doing and keeps her cats in her own yard. Or if she doesn't figure it out you get rid of all the cats hahaha.
Reply:Don't let you cat outside any more or call the police %26amp; tell them what she is doing, you can get her for trespassing
Reply:I'd call the police and see what they say. You may not have any recourse, but the police might be willing to talk to her about it which may scare her into stopping.

I'm so glad that all of my neighbors are normal!
Reply:Install a video cameo were she won't notice to gain evidence. Call the police and tell them about your neighbor. Also can you trust her with your cat? i know if i had a cat I would not trust her with it.
Reply:First of all you need to call Animal Control and get informed of what the cat laws are for where you live. Like, the city where I live, there are no laws concerning cats. Also, do you have CC%26amp;R's in your neighborhood? What does that say about cats?

Second, set up a video camera and keep your cat indoors for say an entire weekend or week and see if she still puts cat poop on your property and get it on camera. Better, would be to kennel your cat and that way you have a paid record of someone else having your cat for that time period.

Third or perhaps, between 1 %26amp; 2. File a police report on her for doing this. And, get a restraining order. (But, if there are laws on the cat; she could end up suing you too --- so be careful). Clearly, she has too much free time.
