This happened to me. Could this have been a magical trick? Or is it that the guy was saying the truth?

I can swear on anyone including my mom that this has happened to me. This happened to me when I was in Sydney, Australia in 1995. I was working in a shop at the counter. A graceful looking Indian man with long hair and beard came directly to my counter and said, by looking at my forehead he can tell that I will become a big yogi. I was bit fascinated by that since I already was interested in becoming one. To convince me he did this. Looking at me he wrote something on a paper. He folded it and gave it to me and asked me to open this later. He then asked me to think of my favorite color, lucky number and a flower that I like. I thought of picking the wrong ones but finally decided to go for the correct ones. Once I opened it, I was surprised to see the exact matching answers. I have never revealed my personal details to anyone at any time. Atleast not when I was in Sydney. Is it possible the Guy was reading my mind? I still have no clue. Can you please explain this? No mocking.

Strange things like this do happen,I went to a medium who told me loads of stuff about deceased friends %26amp; family that he could never have known about which left me thinking 1 of 2 things - either he realy did contact spirits of people beyond the grave or he could read my mind - he couldnt have possibly researched me beforehand as he didnt know my name or where I came from %26amp; he only charged me £20 it would'nt have been worth his time.
Reply:That was a really cool story. I liked the part about him writing down the three items, first. Mysteries are fun.

Mine would have been turquoise, 7 and rose.

So happy for you that you have a good life.

An Indian in an optician's shop told my husband, " Gee, Gary your eyes are shot!" He wasn't the optician, but just a customer. It was very funny, especially with his accent.

Just thought I'd share that with you. Not nearly as good as your story.
Reply:On the subject of not mocking you, what praytell is a Big Yogi.

I am a litlle scared of being too derogatory because it sounds like it could be some scary religous thing but i must say that my thoughts were of a picnic theiving fifties bear.

While being a natural sceptic, ideas like mind reading don't hold much over me but in the spirit of open mindedness i would say that this man didn't really have anything to gain from conning you.

Had he bet money that he could do it i probably have suspected a scam but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Reply:were your answers to the items: green, 4 or 7, and rose or daisy? This is a trick if it was...write down, evenly spaced from each other, 1 2 3 and 4. Pick a #.. I've found that 95% of people I ask to do this pick 3...
Reply:Yeah... I suppose Chris Angel is really Jesus in disguise?

In other words... He was a magician, That is what they do best.

I just hope you didn't give him any money?

The only kind of Yogi I trust likes pic-a-nic baskets... and even he can be a little shady from time to time.

Right Boo boo?
Reply:Somebody you know who knows you well enough to tell him those things. or he he is good in the law of averages something in your enviorment may have clued him in also.
Reply:i am sure you havent seen better ones. go to india once and you will be able to rediscover many such truths and miracles.
Reply:It's a trick--- a complicated one that takes ALOT of practice

It's simply a mix of probability and luck

He wouldn't have been able to do that a second time though that i guarantee
Reply:I don't normally believe in stuff like that - but that is a bit weird! I am as puzzled as you!
Reply:you either made this up i think
Reply:That was probably a magic truck. Don't ask me how he knew, but I've heard things like that before. It might be real, who knows? You're never going to get a straight answer on this. The guy is the only one who knows.
Reply:wow....how cool is that...well if all of this is true then he actually was reading your mind...there is no other explanation...
Reply:I believe you and think I am what pollsters call a "DONT KNOW" on this one.

I know that conjuring tricks are convincing even thoughg they are pure trickers and this sounds like one? It may be a trick or it may be some kind of magic.

I do know there are people who really can read other people's thoughts and also other Occultists who can project "orders" into somebody else's subconscience that you have to obey, although you do not know that the order has been given to you nor by whom. There are also clairvoyants and psychics who can accurately predict things that will happen in the future. Both hypnotism and telepathy have also been proved to work. So any or all of this could be involved.
Reply:yeah it does happen... some people do know how to read minds... ive known quite alot of people who have been through it... there is people in this world who do it... dont get freaked out ven though it is freaky... u never knoe you might meet another mind reader and sometimes they say to you to give them money and they will tell you more...

anyway take care... :-)
