Ok, so in Art Class for the past week we have been working on our prints.
You know sketching our plan on a peice of paper, tranferring it to styrofoam, and then taking a paintroller and covering the styrofoam with paint, then lastly laying it on a peice of paper with only 2 colors showing. (I hope I explained that good enough : )
Well, in my picture I have a picture of a butterfly on a flower and a pond behind it. Some details I have included are rocks, shrubs, and some other little details. And if needed it's in the day.
So, basically my question is what color do you think I should have as the background paper and what color paint should I use for the paint. I have to make several so please help.
I'm not quite sure what to use I just want a little help.
(I'm in 8th grade)
For example in the end its going to look like: http://www.kinderart.com/printmaking/lig...
Except its going to be my buttterfly etc.
Thanks!
Art Class Printmaking?
Blue paper, any color ink (not paint) for what ever you wish the flower to be. (I am assuming you are doing a reduction print. yes?)
