How many species of flowering plants are there in the world?

I need to know an average amount of how many flowering plant species there are in the world for a paper I am writing.

I cant seem to find it anywhere on google or yahoo. I will keep trying but if you have read it somewhere or have seen this, please let me know. Thankyou!
